Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a licensed and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join Harford County Public Schools for the 20252026 school year. This is a meaningful opportunity to support students communication and academic growth in a collaborative and well-supported educational setting.
Position Overview
The SLP will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. This role involves close collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students meet their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and reach their fullest potential in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments

Develop and implement therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals

Deliver direct and consultative services to students across K12 settings
-
Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and compliance

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized goal development

Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support generalization of skills
Qualifications

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field

Active Maryland SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered

Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred

Must pass required background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening in accordance with Harford County Public Schools policy
